The Rosette Nebula is photographically the most obvious object
in this region at Monoceros/Orion/Gemini border, but numerous
smaller and dimmer objects can be found here too
(see enlarged
area around the Cone Nebula). The context of this
frame can be seen in the
ultra-wide mosaic
of this part of the sky.
