Five Planets + One

At the beginning of February, five of the planets were visible in the sky just before sunrise. In case you were wondering about the "plus one," that's referring to the one in the foreground (Earth). The spread was a bit extreme -- Mercury was just visible in the eastern sky, while Jupiter was far to the West. This was not as tight a spread as the evening occurence in May, 2002, and definitely not as conveniently timed!
