Auriga Region

Astrophoto Home Page | Home Page

The Auriga Region, like most areas in the Milky Way, is rich in nebulosity and star clusters. The plane of the Milky way clearly cuts directly through Auriga.

The area of obvious nebulosity near AE Auriga is informally known as the "Flaming Star Nebula."
